Rules for State Tournament per 2011 AABC White Book: Rule
201 (h) – Three (3) outs shall constitute an inning; two (2) outs, two thirds (2/3) inning; one (1) out, one third (1/3)
inning. (However, when a pitcher throws one (1) pitch to a batter beyond the pitching limitation, he is
guilty of a violation and penalty shall be forfeiture of the game; provided each team has been officially notified of the
pitching records (innings pitched) of each pitcher, prior to the start of the game. Penalty will not be
imposed of a pitcher’s allowance is exceeded because of a double play or triple play. Rule 1102 – (a) For the safety and well being of the players, no player may pitch more than a
total of six (6) innings within a period of two (2) consecutive days. (b) If a pitcher’s allowance expires under rule
1202 (a), or he pitches any number of innings in two (2) consecutive days, he may not pitch at all the next day.
Please note that the throwing of one pitch constitutes an appearance (and 1/3 inning). (c) Please see rule 201 (h) (see above), for calculation of innings and penalties for violation. The 8u a player may not pitch more than 3 innings in a game and no more
then 2 days in a row the 3rd day the player must rest
