Hackensack Memorial Day Tournament
The NJYB an affiliate w / NJABC will be hosting this year event in the 10 field complex in Foschini Park in Hackensack NJ
The winners of each division will receive a bid into the NJYB / NJABC Club Division NJ State Tournament with the chances of advancing to a region tournament and representing NJ on the East Coast
The NJYB / AABC will host the tournament and will follow High School Federation rules
Each division 8u thru 16u will except the first 8 teams to register

v   First ( 8 ) Teams Paid In Each Division Will Be Guaranteed
v   Tournament Will Be Run By Federation Rules
v   Four Game Minimum
v    All Teams Must Proved Insurance Certificate (1 Million liability)
v    8u Will Play on   40 – 50 Field    (With 1 Umpire)
v    9u – 10u Will Play on   46 – 65 Field   (With 1 Umpires)
v    11u – 12u Will Play on 50 – 70 Field   (With 2 Umpires)
v    13u – 14u – 15u - 16u Will Play on 60 – 90 Field (With 2 Umpires)
v    Fees For 8 – 9 – 10’s   $450.00
v    Fees For 11 – 12 ‘s       $550.00
v    Fees For 13 – 14 – 15 – 16’s    $595.00
v     First & Second Place Will Receive 1 Team Trophy & 15 Individual Trophies
v     All 8u Participants Will Receive A Medal

THE LAST DAY TO PAY FOR THE TOURNAMENT IS 10 MAY 2008 . SO IF YOU NOT PAID IN FULL PAY PRIOR TO THAT DATE PLEASE DO SO ENSURING YOUR TEAM IS NOT LEFT OUT!

DIRECTIONS FOR FOSCHINI PARK, HACKENSACK

ROUTE 4 EAST- APPROX 2 MILES EAST OF THE ROUTE 4 & ROUTE 17 INTERCHANGE, EXIT HACKENSACK AVENUE (HACKENSACK EXIT) SOUTHBOUND. PASSING THE COACHOUSE DINER AND BERGEN ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL, (HACK AVE BECOMES RIVER STREET )THEN PASSING BOTH SEARS AND MacDONALDS. THE IMMEDAITE TRAFFIC LIGHT AFTER MacDONALDS IS CAMDEN STREET (TOYOTA OF HACKENSACK ON THE CORNER). MAKE A LEFT AT TOYOTA INTO THE FOSCHINI PARK ENTRANCE.

ROUTE 4 WEST- TRAVELING FROM THE GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE (FORT LEE/ENGLEWOOD AREA) TAKE THE 2ND HACKENSACK AVENUE EXIT (AFTER HACK AVE UNDERPASS) TRAVELING SOUTH ONTO HACK AVE AND FOLLOW ABOVE DIRECTIONS.

NJ TURNPIKE NORTH- TAKE TPKE TO END (EXIT 18E OR 18W) BOTH EXITS LEAD TO ROUTE 80 WEST. FOLLOWING SIGNS FOR ROUTE 80 WEST (LOCAL LANES). THE 1ST EXIT ON 80 WEST LOCAL IS EXIT #66, HUDSON STREET-HACKENSACK. DOWN THE EXIT RAMP, BEARING RIGHT AT THE STOP SIGN ONTO E. KENNEDY STREET, THRU THE 1ST LIGHT (HUDSON ST) TO THE 2ND LIGHT (S. RIVER STREET).   MAKE A LEFT AT THAT 2ND LIGHT (S. RIVER STREET) APPROX 2 MILES (PASSING THE BERGEN COUNTY JAIL AND COURTHOUSE, UNDER THE TRAIN TRESSEL TO E. CAMDEN STREET. MAKE A RIGHT AT E. CAMDEN STREET (TOYOTA OF HACKENSACK ON THE CORNER) INTO THE PARK.

ROUTE 80 WEST- EXIT 66- HUDSON STREET HACKENSACK. FOLLOW NJ TURNPIKE DIRECTIONS ABOVE.

ROUTE 80 EAST (FROM GARDEN STATE PKWY OR POINTS WEST OF HACKENSACK) INSURE YOU ARE ON THE ROUTE 80 LOCAL LANES AFTER THE GSP/ROUTE 80 INTERCHANGE) TO EXIT 66. DOWN THE RAMP TO THE STOP SIGN, MAKING A LEFT. ONE BLOCK TO HUDSON STREET, ANOTHER LEFT. ONE BLOCK TO TRAFFIC LIGHT, (E. KENNEDY STREET) MAKE A RIGHT, ONE BLOCK TO S. RIVER STREET, MAKE A LEFT.   APPROX 2 MILES (PASSING THE BERGEN COUNTY JAIL AND COURTHOUSE, UNDER THE TRAIN TRESSEL TO E. CAMDEN STREET. MAKE A RIGHT AT E. CAMDEN STREET (TOYOTA OF HACKENSACK ON THE CORNER) INTO THE PARK.

ROUTE 46 (EAST OR WEST) TO THE LITTLE FERRY CIRCLE, TRAVELING NORTH ON S. RIVER STREET TO TOYOTA OF HACKENSACK, MAKING A RIGHT ONTO E. CAMDEN STREET INTO THE FOSCHINI PARK ENTRANCE.

Come out of the out park make a right on East Salem.
Go Straight to you can’t go anymore that will be State Street make a left and a Quick Right onto Central Ave. At the second light that will be 1^St Street make a Left. Go one block to American Legion Drive make a Right. Field # 1 is on the left side by the Football Field.
