NJYB SUNDAY FALL LEAGUE

TEAMS WILL BE SCHEDULED TO PLAY ON SUNDAYS ( IF BOTH

COACHES AGREE TO MOVE THE GAME THAT IS OK

BUT ONLY IF BOTH AGREE IF NOT, ALL GAMES ARE TO

BE PLAYED ON SUNDAYS)

Fall Season will consist of 8 weekends, plus playoffs or 

consolation game.11u thru 18u will play 2 games of 6 innings or 

1 game of 9 Innings – 8u thru 10u will play  1 game of 6 innings

·         NJYB IS NOT CHANGING ITS CUT OFF AGE IN THE

 FFALL WE WILL REMAIN WITH THE 1 MAY CUT OFF DATE

·         Fall Season will begin on 8 September and go to 

3 November  2019

·         Play-offs will be played on 10 November   League 

Championship 17 November

·         PLAY-OFFS FOR THE TOP 4 TEAMS (SINGLE 

ELIMINATION TO A WINNER IS CROWNED

All others will get a consolation game

·         EACH TEAM WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A NJYB

 TEAM ROSTER AND INSURANCE NAMING:

·         In the Fall season teams have a choice to stay at their 2019 May 1^st age or to  move up to the following age

 that they will play in the 2020 summer.  This is a Managers decision!

WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING AGES IN THE FALL

8U-THRU – 18U DIVISION

COST FOR THE FALL IS $250

Sizzling Hot Summer Special: for all teams who register before 20 August you will pay $200

The last day to register for the Fall League is

 1 September 2019.

Teams must be paid in full or they will not be added to the schedule.

WE FOLLOW MAJOR LEAGUE RULES WITH 

MODIFICATIONS AT THE YOUNGER AGES WITH THE 

 INTENTION OF THE PLAYERS LEARING THE BASIC'S OF 

 THE GAME AND THE CORRECT TECHNIQUES OF PLAYING THE GAME.

AT EVERY ODD AGE GROUP THE FIELDS ARE  

INCREASED AND THE PITCHING RULES CHANGE ADDING INNINGS

8U PLAY ON A  40/60 FIELD  ----- 9U / 10U PLAY ON A  46/65 FIELD       

11U / 12U PLAY ON A   50/70 FIELD 

13U 54/80 or 60/90 14u AND HIGHER PLAY ON A 60/90  FIELD

*Home team is responsible for getting carded umpires / both teams split the umpire fees (max fee is $65 for 6 or 7 innings)

*Home team is to supply baseballs

*Each Manager / Coach should contact each other prior

* NJYB will cross over with teams from NY giving teams a complete schedule and different teams to play.

Important Thought to remember: The game is for the players, each player should play in a safe environment, the players are to play the game, the Coaches are to Coach and the parents are to watch and support the players.

Each manger is responsible for sportsmanship and the control of their fans and parents
