AABC RULE CHANGES FOR THE 2013 SEASON
1. INSURANCE; All Teams advancing to a Regional or
World Series Tournament must have AABC insurnace that is provided by K & K Insurance. There is no waivers and now other
insurance will be excepeted but K & K
.

INSURANCE; Teams that purchase K & K insurance must have players and parents sign waiver and
insurance forms for the entire roster. If forms are not signed players will not be covered under the K & K isurnace policy
NOTE * K &
K Insurance is going up for the 2013 Season

3.
BATS; The 2013 Seasons all bats must have the finger print stamp on them to be approved
7u-13u
only bats approved are BPF 1.15 unlimited weights
14u may use BBCOR or BPF 1.15 bats that are minus 3 in ratio or weight to lenght
15u and up must use wood bats that are MLB approved

4. By-Laws; were changed for voting and removing committee members

PITCHING Rule 205; after the completion of each game a manger or coach from both teams need to sign each others
score books
.
6.
PICK UP PLAYERS: Picking up players for teams that are advancing to a Regional or World Series. The Host team
has the first rights to picking up players in the region or their respective tournaments
.
7. All ODD Age World Series teams will draw at the Mangers Meeting for seeding for the Brackets
( Even Age World Series Brackets will be pre-drawn by the AABC National Office)

8. RULE 213: Winner of National Qualifying Tournaments may only replace players from their
league
.
9.SLIDE
RULE; The Slide rule has been changed it is NO LONGER SLIDE OR AVOID The Rule now states that all players must
slide when going to any base and their is a play with a ball in flight and the UMPIRE FEELS THEIR IS A PLAY TO BE MADE
.
10. ODD WORLD SERIES AND REGIONAL TOURNAMENT
ENTRY FEES; Teams will have to play a entry fee into AABC ODD World Series and Even AABC Regioanl Tournaments.
These fees will be used to off set the fees that are required to run a tournament.

11. NEW JERSEY YOUTH BASEBALL STATE TOURNAMENT ( ONLY) ; The brackets will be filled based on
the teams season standing. Their will no longer be a draw when the Tournament Direct can fill brackets evenily based
on a teams standings ( Point System) . If there are more then one division the League Director will then use the
point system to fill brackets if their is a tie then they will use runs allowed if still a tie will use runs scored. The NJYB
uses a point system when determing standings teams are awarded 3 points for a win -- 2 points for a tie -- 1 point
for a lose --- and -1 for games that are not played

The
brackets will be filled as followed based on a 8 team tournament

Team 1 will be
the 1st place team
Team 2 will be the 8th place team
Team
3 will be the 6th place team
Team 4 will be the 3rd place team
Team
5 will be the 5th place team
Team 6 will be the 4th place team
Team 7 will be the 7th place team
Team 8 will be the 2nd place team

After filling in the brackets for the first round we then will follow the brackets
set forth to us by the AABC
.
12.
BASEBALL; It was voted to remain with Diamond as the AABC Baseball of Choice for all tournaments and recommended
for seasonal play.

Note; We were
informed and it was suggested to let everyone know that Baseballs have gone up again( All companies) . Some place prices have
gone through the roof but DIamond has insured us that is we use a Diamond Representive then balls are up $4 a dozen.
